With Android you can connect with BLE bluetooth or directly over USB with an android OTG cable.
Lastly Android also supports wi-fi joysticks using ELRS or TBS transmitters / modules.

Note that not all controllers that work on a PC will also connect successfully with Android - check with an app store joystick checker to make sure you have a valid joystick connection to Android as VelociDrone connects to the Android created joystick device, it does not connect directly to your controller.
If Android is unable to create a valid joystick for your controller then VelociDrone will not be able to see it either.
