VelociDrone will support any device that can connect as a game controller to Windows, OSX or Linux over USB.

We do additionally support on windows connection using an audio socket and PPM buddy cable when using smartpropoplus software, however, we do not recommend using VelociDrone in this way other than to trial the software as this method has poor latency and some controls drift that requires dead band to tune out. These issues do not exist with USB connection.

We additionally also support connection using a Teensy 3.2 Arduino board and our own Teensy game controller software (free to VelociDrone customers).

This method requires either a DSM2/DSMX receiver or an SBUS receiver and a Teensy 3.2 board.

Teensy 3.2 is our recommended solution for the highest resolution and lowest latency connection to a computer.

VelociDrone does not support DJI Mavic controllers or DJI controllers that are not the DJI FPV Remote (1,2 or 3).

In fact no simulator supports these controllers.

VelociDrone does support the DJI FPV Remotes (1,2, and 3)
